"This is the best fish and chip shop in Grimsby & Cleethorpes. It’s a hotly debated topic in this neck of the woods, but to settle it once and for all. The Frying Pan is the best. After trying loads of other places and being disappointed, I’ve been going here for 3-4 years and it’s consistently amazing. The best freshest fish, perfectly fried in crisp but light batter. Everything else on the menu is top class too, decent chips, mushy peas and curry sauce. Staff are friendly and efficient; and the prices are on par with other places. The queue out the door on a Friday and Saturday is testament to how others feel about this place. My family and friends all agree, The Frying Pan rules. Try it and you won’t be disappointed."

"I have visited more chip shops than my heart can probably take but this place is in another league!! Lots of friendly staff making the orders fly through, even on a busy Friday I wait no longer than a few minutes for my meal. The pricing is superb, very well priced for the size portions! They will be very hard to beat! The food itself, what can I say! Its now the family favourite chippy! I recently had a large donna kebab, battered sausage and chips. Safe to say it was incredible. None of which was greasy which was a bonus. My kids cleared there plates which is a rare thing to happen. If your in the area this is the chippy to visit! Well worth the visit and you will not be disappointed!"

"Best chippy around! There is alot more chippys closer to me but will travel to get the weekly chippy from here. The food is always on point and tastes great! The pricing is ridiculously good too! £1.50 for a burger is incredible! The service is always grand from the ladies working. There is always a cue! Not surprisingly so either with how good it is! Never waiting long though, the turn around is extremely fast. Defo worth a visit if you are looking for some good quality sausage and chips!!"

"Certainly the best fish and chips takeaway in the Grimsby area. Really quick professional happy staff. Portions are huge. We order 2 fish, one small chips one small peas and that easily feeds 4 of us. Consistently great tasting haddock, batter and chips. Can be often a huge queue as so good."
